While reading into the Holocaust, I realised that it often mentions just Jewish people, but does not mention the others who were also involved; homosexuals, gypsies, non-Jewish Poles, other "undesirables". Are these counted within the Holocaust or referred to as something else entirely?

What are early recorded nicknames? When do nicknames start in history? Why do we not see any references to Julius "The J-Man" Caesar or Alex the Great? Are there any notable references to historical pet names? When did everyone become less formal, at least in the records?

How did actors get cast for plays during Shakespeare's time? Did "directors" (if they existed) have control over who they wanted to be cast? Were some actors especially popular for certain roles or typecast? Did an actor have any agency in picking who they played?
